The inaugural James Docherty Dinner was a tremendous success, bringing together a packed room of friends, neighbors, elected officials, and community leaders to honor the memory of our dear friend, Jim Docherty.
The evening also provided an opportunity to recognize and thank Jeff Manville of Southbury for his outstanding leadership and dedication to our town. More than 100 local residents attended, joined by elected officials from across Connecticut and candidates for office, including Matthew Corey, Jen Tooker, and Chris Shea for Congress.
The keynote address was delivered by State Senator Ryan Fazio, who shared his vision for Connecticut’s future and made a compelling case for why he should be the state’s next Governor.
A special thank you goes to Selectman Jason Van Stone for organizing such a memorable event, and to the Wyndham Southbury for its exceptional service and outstanding food. The evening was a fitting tribute to Jim’s legacy and a celebration of the community he cared so deeply about.
